First Presbyterian Church of Rockport offers a variety of opportunities for people of all ages to serve.

The Community Table

Community Table is one of First Presbyterian Church’s most visible and successful outreach programs. Seven churches and three service organizations combine to serve all the people of the area. Community Table was started in May of 2007 and served meals every Tuesday. By 2010, Community Table was providing over 12,000 dinners annually, averaging 250-300 meals some weeks.

Castaways

First Presbyterian Church, Rockport, has been a partner in Castaways Thrift Shop since 1976. Every Monday from 9-3 we are responsible for staffing the sales floor (the front) and receiving, sorting, pricing (the back).

Presbyterian Women

To build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church, USA and witness to the promise of God’s kingdom. To nurture our faith through prayer and Bible study, to work for justice and peace and to support the mission of the church worldwide. First Presbyterian Church Women have been in existence since 1889.
